Something To Think About

I want everyone to think on the words written below. These words are not just a bunch of sentences thrown together to sound all proper. They are our means to fighting back.
We now find ourselves in a situation in which we must make decisions to follow down the road to a govt. of socialism like what our founding fathers fought and died to make sure we did not become or to stand up and do as they did. Fight ! Not with bullets but with ballots and votes, phone calls and faxes, emails and hand wriiten letters to the people who claim to be representing us. Make them hold true to values, honor, committment and most of all to the laws that have made this country great and they swore to uphold. Do not just sit there and say it is someones elses job, I don’t have time or that you do not know how. The tools to do what is needed is all around you. Use them. Being lazy and not standing up is what got us to this point we find ourselves in now. What would have happened if our founding fathers just sat around and did nothing ? Think we would be the great nation of freedom we are now ? Ask yourself what would our founding fathers do ?

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security”.
